Is this the ultimate cross country race bike? I'd say yes! This bike is pretty dang amazing and ridiculously light. Specialized has outdone themselves with the new 2021 S-Works Epic Race. This is the most focused version of the Epic with every detail working together so you can be on the podium. With 100mm of travel front and rear. A position-sensitive brain in the Rockshox SID SL Ultimate fork, and a new 5 position inline brain at the back you will have one of the most efficient full suspension bikes available. Not to mention the SRAM AXS Wireless drivetrain and little touches like titanium bolts! Call me impressed because I am. This bike is utterly amazing and a true XC machine. I am impressed with how Specialized can take the Epic to the next level when it was already one of the winningest bikes available.
