The 'new" Bontrager R3 Hard-Case Lite Tires in 700x25c width make a bunch of moves to be one of the fastest tires available. These tires use Bontrager's own proprietary TR-Speed compound recently announced and a unique 120 TPI casing that is directional. This is pretty unique to see a slick performance tire like this using directional casings and a new rubber compound to go up against the likes of Continental, Vittoria, and Specialized's fast tire lineup.
